Question nitrate reactor

Has anyone used the Midwest Aquatic reactor or the Korallin??

What are the pros and cons of each??

Thanks

I have a Midwest unit, and it worked for me as advertised, it took my nitrate level on my 110 gallon tank from 60 to 80 to now < 1 in about 8 weeks. I've had it running since mid-March. The only issue I have today is that my nitrates are so low, I'm having a bit of a challenge getting the unit "tuned down" to the much lower level of nitrate. When the unit is too active with not enough nitrate to consume, it can produce some pretty smelly sulfur smells, though to date no real effect on the tank even when it smelled pretty bad. Usually a higher water flow can correct this, but in my case I ended up tearing down the unit, cleaned it, and only replaced about a quarter of the sulfur pellets which should be enough to handle my new nitrate rate.
