iPod Question

Stupid question here....

I am going to my sister's house this afternoon and I am going to be taking my iPod. I was wondering if I could connect my iPod to her computer and import her downloaded songs to my unit? She doesn't have an iPod, but I should still be able to get her songs right?

both pcs?
or both macs?

if yours is a mac and hers a pc or vise versa you could have problems.

if you have an external Hard drive or space on your ipod you could just set your ipod for disk use and copy her itunes folder onto the pod

id doest mateer about the PC vs Mac, (she just needs to have iTunes. the disc that came with the iPod should be able to install on both. or iTunes can be downloaded. mac.com

iTunes + iPod + USb cable = hours of illegal media sharing fun.

but watch out! LArs Ulrich will kick your butt!

Actually I will have to disagree with the items above. Ipods are inda tied to the machine they are synched with. As a counter piracy measure, I am almost positive that if you connect your iPod to your sisters computer you run the risk of having all the songs on your ipod deleted and replaced with the songs on her computer.

rutledgek they removed the restrictions but you are still not able to take music off of pods using ituens you can use itunes to add music with no problems i switch back and fourth from my macbook to my powermac with all of my pods and no issues, you have to set it where you controll the music on there. no autosync

yea, each individual iPod will pop up in iTunes. you can plug in as many iPods as USB ports.
