Rare fish sighted
just thought i'd share my findings yesterday. went to the usual spots in SF yesterday (Lucky O, Aquatic Central, 6th ave - ooops saw all the regular crazy stuff at 6th including a nice chalice for $40!!! saw 2 small hawaiian dragon moray's, a pair of mento triggers (crosshatch), some very nice wrasses, and lots of asfur and mac angels being blown out at $89, along with purple tangs for $85 (seems more like average than sale price for the tangs though) at AC.

Nope, 6th ave does bag specials, which are basicly directly taken from wholesale and put into tanks for people to grab. I wouldnt touch their live stock in their tanks its diseased. But the bags I think are safer b/c its the wholesale water.
They had a crap load of hippo tangs The store opens at 10 and theres a line of people waiting to bum rush in. If I remember here are some of the fishes they sell 3 ocellaris clowns 12 dollars 2 black saddle back clowns 12 dollars 2 tomattos 12 dollars 1 maroon 8 dollars 2 skunks 12 dollars 7-8 assorted damsels 12 dollars 2 pajama cardinals 8 dollars 2 fire fish 8 dollars 1 purple fire fish 8 dollars I think 1.5inch sailfin tang 9 dollars 1.5inch female naso tang 9 dollars 1.5inch powder brown 9 dollars 1.5inch scopas tang 9 dollars 1.5inch hippo tang 13 dollars 1.5inch foxface lo 9 dollars 1.5inch racoon butterfly 9 dollars 1.5inch coral beauty 9 dollars 1.5inch false lemon peel dwarf angel 9 dollars 1.5inch dwarf key hole angel 9 dollars 1.5inch rusty angel 9 dollars 1.5inch ebili dwarf angel 9 dollars 1.5inch Mertensii Butterflyfish 9 dollars 1.5inch lemon butterfly 9 dollars 1.5inchlongnose butterfly 9 dollars lawn mower blenny 9 dollars mandarin dragonat 9 dollars 2inch lion fish 12 dollars yellow coris wrasse 9 dollars red coris wrasse 9 dollars bird wrasse 9 dollars 1.5inch niger trigger 9 dollars 1inch baby clown trigger 13 dollar dollars 1inch huma trigger 9 dollars 1inch squar huma trigger? 9 dollar 1-2inch blueline trigger 13dollar 1-2inch undulate trigger 9 dollar 2.5inch harlequim tusk 14dollar sweetlip 9 dollars longnose hawkfish 9 dollars pixy hawkfish 9 dollars 1.5inch Lyretail Anthias male 12 dollars cow box fish 9 dollar small tube anemone 9 dollar 3 feather dusters 12 dollars Assorted anemone 12 dollars Yeah thats a long list and thats all I remember been there twice and the people wipe out almost all the bags within 20mins...... No way lool, they have bad customer service and give bad advice and dont give a crap about your fish. They are terrible. But I always see a long line of people lining up to get in. Its like when the Iphone just came out.
