Self cleaning glass tank? anyone?

My tank is pretty much 100% automotated with the exception of once or twice a week i have to run the old magnet cleaner across the glass. This isnt a big deal on one side as it is easily accessable, however since this is a dual sided viewing setup the other side hangs over the stairs so i have to hang myself acrossed the banister to clean the glass! I was wondering if there is any kind of motorized algea scraper i could get to clean this side?

some might say this is taking automation a bit to far but it really would be nice to not have to hang over the stairs!!
