Light acrylic scratches - micro mesh?
I'm looking to remove a couple small scratches that are inside the acrylic tank and heard micro-mesh can be used internally below the water line.
Anyone have experience with the Aquarium Kit from Micro-Surface Finishing Products? https://www.micro-surface.com/default.cfm?page_id=175 The kit seems to have small pieces of many different grades for use by hand. Any other suggestions for sourcing micro-mesh? BTW... I'm still very happy that I have acrylic, at least the scratches can be removed fairly easily. So let's not turn this into a "you should of got glass thread."

Doug,
Micro-mesh is probably the best kit out there for removing scratches. It can be used inside our outside the tank, not a problem! Hope that helps.

I ordered the kit. I've read that if you can feel a scratch with your fingernail, than start with 2400, otherwise use the 3200 and work your way up.
We will see. I'll take some before, during and after shots next week once it arrives.
