purple tang....maybe to agressive
Powder blue or brown tang
regal angel.....might eat my zoos
harliquin tusk(australia)...might hide a lot.

Hippo tang....worry about having to small of a tank TANK IS TOO SMALL
purple tang....maybe to agressive MIGHT BE ALRIGHT
Powder blue or brown tang IMO TANK TOO SMALL
regal angel.....might eat my zoos IS GOING TO EAT THEM
harliquin tusk(australia)...might hide a lot. OK IF YOU DON'T HAVE SHRIMPS OR SNAILS ETC
pinktail trigger DON'T KNOW
crosshatch trigger TOO SMALL OF A TANK
bluejaw trigger TOO SMALL OF A TANK
sargassum trigger DON'T KNOW

THEREFORE, PURPLE TANG MIGHT BE THE WAY TO GO. TUSK MIGHT BE OK DEPENDING ON WHAT ELSE YOU HAVE IN THE TANK.

Radiant Wrasse. Different colors than most other fish, very active and expensive enough to be called a centerpiece.

I would love to put a Crosshatch Trigger in my new 220 except they are $500.00. The triggers are too big for a 72 gallon tank.

No triggers or tangs, IMO.

Look at fairy wrasses. Colorful and some are pretty cheap/hardy.

I don't think any of the fish on your list are good choices. How about a Jordan's or Mysteri Wrasse? If you can find a Chevron tank that's healthy (good luck) that would be a better choice if you really want a tang, they're not very hardy fish though.

About a month ago I got an Exquisite Fairy Wrasse. It is the coolest fish, very active, peaceful, beautiful and entertaining. I would suggest this fish.

gkimble,

I have a small purple tang and the exquisite fairy wrasse and they do well together (but I also have two green chromis that take most of the tang's wrath and that's why I bought them ... dithering fish is what Bob Fenner calls them). Now I don't know what will happen when the purple tang gets bigger. Hopefully they will all get along because they grew up together.

I would look at some of the wrasse's. You can get some very brightly, active fish. The fish on list IMO would not be a good match for your tank due to size. Good luck!!

DONT go for the tusk! Even m 180g was too small for him, they like to swim very fast and he got really frustrated with the tank not being long enough. Was sad watching him so gave him back!

Flames are much cheaper if you buy them by the pair at my LFS...

If you are talking about pairing different wrasses, be careful.

Must have completely different body shapes or will be trouble.

My flame gets along swimmingly with my sixline.

Don't know about others...though hard to imagine such a mellow fish could ever get mad at anyone.

The blue hippo I think you could get away with. I have one in my 80gal with a yellow tang. And they are just fine. Of course, with both of them, I will have to upgrade to a larger tank eventually. But with just the one, as long as there is enough open space, it should be just fine. Just my opinion.

Love mine also.

LFS tried his darn'est to sell me a pair, but being pretty fished up I settled for just the male.

Am glad I did now. Having two in tank would be just too distracting.

Looks great when swimming about with Yellow and Blue tangs. Quite a contrast in color.

awesome actually.

Yep, I love them!
