Well what else do you have in your tank? Lol I would love to help solve your mystery if I could get more info. If you have a good clean up crew they usually take care of the job for you. I have had a skeleton left they cleaned the fish to the bone before I could even notice I had a dead fish!

If a fish is small it wont take long to get scavenged in a reef tank, I've seen fish nibble corpses as well as the clean up crew. I would make sure there isn't any way the fish are jumping out because if they are they could be dried up somewhere or get eaten by other pets (do you have a cat?)

Look for a rockcrab if there is no other explanation they are sneaky from everything I have read. are you running a sump if so double check your overflow.

I fed my tank at 10am, and left for the afternoon. When I came home about 6 or 7, all that was left of my Flasher Wrasse (that I saw swimmnig around and eating at 10) was the tale and backbone. By 8, even the clean-up crew was done with it.
