Instant Algae vs DT plankton

Has anyone had experience in using Instant Algae compared to DT's Plankton?

By Instant Algae, are you referring to Reef Nutrition Phyto-Feast or one of the other Reed Mariculture products?

I have used Phyto-Feast, DT's, DT's Premium, and Liquid Life. I can't really say that any stand out as particularly good or bad over the others in my experience. I guess that could be because I've switched a lot; I don't know.

My only real comments are that 1) it may be my imagination, but I seemed to get more brown algae when using DT's Premium. Also, I don't really like the small-style pump on the Liquid Life. I've gotten both styles, and the small ones are terrible.

Reed Mariculture products are much better than DT's in my opinion.

I am trying the Nanno 3600 and the shellfish diet 1800. See what happens.

Another options is Tahitian Blend algae paste from Brine Shrimp Direct. I believe it is actually made by Reed Mariculture for BSD.
