easy xenia
my 1st xenia i bought was pink and it grew so fast that when i found a yellow backed xenia,i decided to record its progress.i bought one stalk for $25 and just pressed it onto a rock and it stuck lol.but it immediately turned into 4 and i will soon cut some of them to cover some bare rock faster.anyway heres the photos of its 1st 6 days growth.i will soon start cutting it an you will see how fast it can be spread.

Is your Xenia on steroids?
Thats unbelievable growth speed... Mine after 2 weeks, still the same size.

i'm using reef complete and instant ocean salt and dt.xenia love reef complete.i was going to cut some peices off today but its growing so well i'm not sure if i want to just yet.here's todays photo.

its now the 17th 9 days after buying one stalk of yellow xenia.i may let it grow another week before i cut it.theres other places i want it to grow,but i've put it off so that i could show its progress.i'm using it to fill in gaps between frags of slower growing corals till they fill in.i'll just rip them out and send them back to the store i bought them from when they over crowd.several stores take em back cause they don't ship well.

ok i cut it and spread it out,after all i did get it to fill in gaps between coral frags till they filled in.
