Cool My Ricordia/Zoa tank - lots of pics!

Well here is a little eye candy for you. I am pretty happy with the way it has turned out.

Here is what the tank looked like before:

Here is what it looks like now:

Now for the fun shots... time to take the camera INTO the water and see how things really look. **Disclaimer** Pictures below have been known to cause shortness of breath, bulging eyes like this --> , and in some rare cases the colors will induce epileptic seizures. View at your own risk!

Thanks! Did you see the pic above with the Superman Monti and the base of the Prostrate battling it out? Ironically those pieces have done extraordinarily well when they grew into each other. The portions not touching have grown quite a bit, almost as if them growing into each other acted like a catalyst of sorts.

Oh, and the zoas on the frag plugs were saved from Chris' recently defunct tank. I am happy to report that they have done a complete 180 since being added to the system and I think they are on the fast track to recovery.

If anybody would like full sized pics of any of my shots, just PM me. The originals (before shrunk down) are super large files and image sizes and make cool background images.

Tim,
You have an open invitation to anything I have in any of my systems - on the house. I am going to try my hand at fragging a couple of the Floridas to get the process down, then try a couple yumas - these things are massive (some are like 3" across)!

Are the rodactus shrooms the red/orange ones. If so I got a couple randomly on a rock and their my second favorite coral in my tank. My favorite is my orange on orange zoos.

There are actually quite a few rhodactus shrooms in there, the orange ones with blue undertones being one of them. Also have some bright green and purple versions too. They are really nice and add a ton of color to the system. Probably should call it my ricodia/shroom/zoa tank.

A week! No, seriously... a week. I cheated and ordered many of the larger colonies, but the smaller ones are all home grown - many from one or two polyps. I switched out the lighting to new bulbs and moved all my rics/zoas/shrooms from my main system to this one then added approx 8 new colonies to give a good jump start. So I have had many of the corals for awhile now, just not in this system.
