Fiji is going for 6.99 a lb here in south florida. That's dirt cheap. It was 14.99 a few years ago. What I'm doing right now is seeding some dead rock from an old tank. about 20 lbs premium fiji to 25-30lbs dead fiji.

If you PM me, I have about 30 lbs dead fiji left. Real nice shapes.

Check your local reef club or Craigslist...just got 100 pounds of Fiji, Marshal, and Tonga for less than $3/pound from a fellow club member.

you should not have to pay any more than $2.25 a lb for live rock, most comes from Fiji from Walt Smith exports. There is a distributer in Ca and Fla. for the rock. Try ebay, walt smith live rock.

I second that, theres no reason to pay any more than that, unless you want to pick out specific pieces.

$2.25 a pound!!!! Quick ? how much to ship that much? I paid $6.99 a pound for fiji and tonga. You could always do macrorocks dot com and seed that with LR.

I only buy from a few suppliers. I had some Florida rock totally wipe out a large system over the past year. I grew a hydroid that killed 30 colonies of montipora and 20 of acropora.

Stay away from aquacon.com. Their "free shipping" is not free.
