Re-sale value?

I sold my house again (sale pending any way) and I think I want to do a custom or larger in the new house. What would the 120G (SCTRACHLESS) tank- stand and hood (only) be worth?

When you figure it out, let me know. I'm still hunting for a replacement tank.

A few years back I was told used tanks are worth about $1 per gallon. Not sure if that figure is still good but it makes a great starting point. I have no idea what the stand and hood is worth.

GORGEOUS TANK, STAND, and HOOD!!!

It's exactly what I want in my house. Instead I have a black pine stand, a 75 gallon tank (not RR), and rigged up lights. Someday......in the meantime I keep dreaming.

Good luck and enjoy your new tank and house to come.

Shotgun, I wont know about how the new set up will take place for a while and sorry, I only like oak.
Thanks, Sherry. The stand and hood are custom. The hood alone was $350 (Milli at C.F.) +$70 in 2 part marine epoxy.
If I had to guess, I have 1,700+ invested in the 3 pieces.
There is no sump under the stand so it has never seen salt creep and is still like new.
$400

Thanks, Scott. I would NEVER let it go for $400. If that would be the value, I will always have a place for it some where.

if you include the lights in the canopy, a decent offer around $700 would be good

I have seen this tank and to be honest its the reason that I got heavy into reefing and I would think it would be worth more than that with the lighting. if I remember isnt everything you have ice cap?

That hood alone is still worth $300, the stand probably another $250 and the tank $200. So I would say a fair price would be $750 without lights. Wish I could afford it...

Nice tank BTW.
