I've been running 2 NO Flour. 50/50 and an actinic on my tank. I t is time to replace my actinic and I got to wondering if the 50/50's had enough blue in them that I could replace the actinic with a 50/50.
Thanks for you help.

Is it vho?
I'd stay with the vho actinic...I like them above all other actinic or actinic/daylight combo bulbs I've seen...If you only had that one, then you might be losing the "glow power" that your reef has now...You could always order the four bulb minimum from marine depot and get the free shipping and get some of each to try out...At twenty bucks a bulb, they beat my local store's 35.00$

Best regards

Get more bang for your buck and buy a Philips actinic 03 lamp and the other, a GE Daylight Ultra, from Walmart. The Actinic from the LFS will cost bucks but the GE Daylight Ultra costs only $3.99 here at Walmart. Initial lumen output is 3050, which is tops in the 6500K NO lamps.

IREPLACED MY BULBS WITH CORALIFE BULBS. I installed them, left them in about 5 min. PUT THEM BACK IN THE BOXES AND TOOK EM BACK TO THE STORE. IMO the color of the bulbs suck. Try 1 power glow and 1 marine glow bulb and i think thats the best you can do with NO.
