brown sand-what do I do?

Tank's been up for about 2 months. This week the sand started getting brown. What do I need to clean it up?

its probly a diatom bloom, all new tanks go through this phase, they will slowly dissapear in a week or so, or if you really dont like them you could siphon them off the sand bed

Yeah, totally normal for new tanks to go through a diatom bloom. After that you'll probably see hair algae. All should pass on their own. Just add a cleanup crew once the cycle is totally complete.

Be patient and let it take care of itself. Continue normal tank maintence and upkeep. Make sure your skimmer is working at full force.
