web edit question

hi everyone, i've been working on my website and i like to change the home page freq. but most people don't get the update for a long time due to their cache that htey keep in their web browsing, i bevieve thats what its called i could be wrong on the names, but does any one know any code or way to do this, the best example i can think of is live aquaria, it seems like they always have something new on the homepage no matter what is there some sort of html code that i can put in to make the page load from the web everytime instead of from their browsers cache?

Thanks everyone!

It's a setting on the local computer

Not sure of any auto-refresh you can set to force a home pc to update. Seems like it could create a security hole if that were possible. So it may be possible with Windows

I very rarely change the index page much
Usually a one line blurb
Everything that changes is on other pages
Makes the search engines happier maybe

You could always install the tag: "To view the latest content on this often-changing page---hit REFRESH."
