Wow thats a lot of things in a 2 month old tank. Have you gone through your algea cycles? The colors with the actinic really pop! Love the rock work.

The live rocks was in my 40g sump for about 4 month, I got the nano from a friend of mine with just the live sand in it, he had the nano for about 3 years and upgraded to a 60gallon cube. So i figure that if i put my live rocks and water in it an it good to go, so far the tank is doing well. I 'm planning on doing Zoos and Shroom to it.

So the tank came to you established, heck then why aren't more things in there, lol. Having a light more on the blue-er side makes all those colors just stand out. Makes everything look like it glows.

Here are some new pictures of my nano tank with some new corals. I also replace my 20k no name bulb that i got on ebay for 20 bucks with a new phoenix 14k bulb. I love the color that the phoenix put out. Like people say don't go cheap on your tank or you will regret it.

Make sure your mandarin is eating, you may have to add some pods to the tank, as he will clean them out real quick. Everything looks good though, I love the dusters. I have one of the purple/yellow ones in my tank.

Like Sugar said, you really gotta watch the mandarin to make sure he's eating. Even if he is eating you may need to target feed him for a while since he just isn't fast enough to compete with the other fish in your tank. Mandarins just don't know how to eat in a fish tank and you need to train them. They only know to look for food on the rocks and sand, so taking a piece of frozen food out of the middle of the water column is totally new to them.

If he's not eating he'll wither away in a few weeks. You can try live brine that you gut pack with phytoplankton. Another food that works great and has excellent nutrition is live blackworms. You can get them at a lot of LFSs that deal in fresh water fish. Good luck.

Nice carnation, make sure you spot feed him too...they are known to whither away in tanks, they are a difficult coral to keep, although beautiful!

Looks good though!

Two weeks ago i added a DIY protein skimmer to my nano. it work out great. I make it out of a water bottle and old collection cup that i had for ten from my old *** tank, just the cup only i have no idea where the rest of the part is. I used a whisper 1000 to pump the air through the bottle and crallife air stone made out of limewood i think. but it pretty kool. Here are some pictures of it. Let me know what you guys think.
