I take it the tank does not have a sump? Also, how much room do you have to work with as far as hob skimmers? I have a Coralife ss65 skimmer on my 29 w/10 gallon sump. The skimmer is running in HOB mode on the sump. If you have to run this on your display, I probably wouldn't recommend the skimmer, because it sticks up pretty far and has a large pump and bubble suppressor that will sit near the surface of the water..

If this is one of the nanopod type tanks with a false rear wall with space for the heaters and filters, the tunze 9002 has a fairly small foot print.

A little more info on the tank, and we can probably make some better recommendations. Also, what you plan to keep in the way of corals and fish is important as well (bioload vs water cleanliness)

You won't need a skimmer for a bioload that small. If you keep your inhabitants down to AT MOST WHAT YOU LISTED (i want to keep some zoos, softies, 2 fish and a anomone.) and you feed lightly and rarely (feed 2-3 times a week, as well have lots of liverock, then you should be okay. I've had great sucess with my skimmerless nanocube, and I'm sure you will too if you follow my advise.

Good luck!
