Question Honeymoon vacation (snorkel - in Fiji, Marshall Islands, or Hawaii)?

I will be planning a trip soon for my honeymoon. We want to go to an island that is out this world. We have researched Fiji and I am impressed. We are willing to go any where in the world, so as long as we are impressed with God's creation.

I know we would be impressed at any island, BUT is there an island that is easier to snorkel in and see tons of life like corals, fish, turtles, etc?

Which place do you think is BEST to snorkel and see the most beautiful beaches, etc....?

You see, I forgot Bora Bora. How does Bora Bora and Belize compare to the list above?

To start, my girlfriend and I have NEVER snorkeled in the ocean. Its probably not that difficult I know, BUT I would like to visit a place where it is easily accessable to see things like corals, tangs, clams, etc....

Where are you getting your qoute to Belize from?

Thanks!
- Chris

I voted marshal islands I am bias tho since I've always wanted to see Tricinctus clowns in the wild. I've done Fiji and it was wonderfull, Hawaii is nice but, it's no fiji it's still great snorkeling tho...

Just please be prepared and very careful if you decide to go it alone without a snorkel group.

I dont have a direct site cause there a re a few that have great offers but you can do a google search for "all inclusive belize" and it should bring you to all the good stuff! I dont know that it would compare to bora bora or fiji, however it looks awesome and the price is right... I really wanted to stay in the over water bungallo's in bora bora but the cost is a little outrageous.

Whats the best time in the year for Fiji? Is there a specific place in Fiji? Also, do you all know of any packages you have personally used or know of somebody who used a package that saved them$$$?

I went to Maui for my honeymoon. Great diving! Snorkeling right off the beach. I would highly recommend it. That place is paradise.

18 years ago, lol, we did St. Johns for our honeymoon. At the time the island had 3 of the top 5 beaches for snorkeling. Was beautiful. Since then, I think they have been hit by 2 hurricanes.
Still would recommend the Rock Resort as very romantic (was all inclusive).

Anyone been lately, were thinking for 20th.

Good luck to all of you by the way!

It all depends..Hawaii Islands receive millions of visitors a year. With Fiji and Marshall Island, you may have a more intimate experience. I have also heard that turtle island is an spectacular experience.

I went to Fiji and the place i stayed at was called Matangi Island. Its a private Island with off shore snorkling where you can see lion fish, anemones with clowns and porceline crabs and a smal outcrop of Rocks about 20 yards off shore 15 ft down smothered in Clams. Look them up on the internethttp://www.matangiisland.com/ You will not be disappointed
