40 Gallon SPS Reef

I started this reef project early september. I downgraded from a 100 gallon cube.

My old 100gal. Cube

Anyways, I broke down the cube and sold most of the livestock, except for some SPS pieces.

In the beggining, I played with the idea of a mixed reef but my love for SPS got the best of me.

Earlier Tank Pic

Before I start with the current tank pics. Let's get into details about my system.

Tank:
40Gallon Regular
30-40lbs of Various LR (Fiji, vanatu and Tonga)
Circulation:
Maxi-jet 600 on a Hydor Flotor
Seio 1100 and Seio 820
Filtration:
Coralife Super Skimmer 65 (love this thing)
Other Misc Equipment:
300Watt Titanium heater
ATO System on a 5 gallon Tank, with daily drip of kalkwasser

Livestock:
Pure SPS, varieties of Acroporas and Montiporas
Fishes:
Way too many!
Maintenance:
Twice a week water change of NSW (Scripps)
Daily top off of RO/DI water and Kalkwasser drip at night.
Daily Supplementation of Tropic Marin Calcium

Anyways, enough chit chat, here are the current pics.

I switch to sand because of many reasons, PH buffering, asthetic look, my Pistol Shrimp Goby Pair and the tank looks brighter with the white sand.

The clowns have actually started a Harem. I originally bought the two clowns that are the same size (assumed both males) and I recently purchased a smaller one and ever since then, they have gotten a long, never seen them fight.

Here is a picture of my cardinals, I love watching them school back and fourth from one end of the tank to the other. Also, they seem to spawn a lot, I've seen a couple of them with mouth fulls of what I assume are babies....too bad the babies become fish and coral food...
