Free UNATTACHED Xenia

I feel bad for slinging this stuff out into my yard when people still pay for it. I need to trim back some this weekend. I'll even show you how to attach it if you don't know. Just PM me and I'll give you enough so that you can start throwing it away yourself.

No shipping, no delivery. You have to come pick it up.

Great gesture of goodwill and a nice way to get rid of it

where are you located? I'd love to have some Xenia. I've never had any luck at keeping it, sounds like yours is pretty hardy.

If it's the blueish white one I don't think you can kill it. I'd like to get some more for my other tank.

Yep thats the stuff, every tank in the valley and beyond has this strain of xenia I believe.

In fact this area is ripe with great xenia strains!

There is also a great strain of super stable elongata floating around the valley.

Plus if you know where to look you can find some ultra rare xenia around here. True blue xenia (Cespitularia) for one. AND NO I DO NOT HAVE ANY. My Blue hippo made sure my blue xenia or any other color did'nt last long, but now that shes gone......

sooooooonnnnn

I'd like a bit, too. Just added more light, so maybe this time it will stick around. [Jason - If I'm picking some up for me, I can get yours to St. Albans, at least. Save you 1/2 hr.]

When will you be trimming essop3?

Joyski, that would be great. I can just pick it up from your place. I have to take some stuff back to Center hardware soon anyways.

Sorry guys, things have been busy. I'm in Elkview. I'd like to trim it out Monday night. If this isn't good for anybody I can put it off until next weekend. Holidays are busy for us all.

This one will do fine under PC at about 3 watts per gallon.

I'm not sure, but I keep experiencing meltdowns. I asked Ron if there was something I could feed them; he suggested they need light more than foods. Since I added another 150 watts after Christmas, I thought I'd try again. I may be sorry, but I love those lil pumpers.

PC's/VHO are sufficient. They grow best/fastest under higher light (MH). They will typically grow much thicker/stockier under halides. Also high flow will keep them shorter. I have experienced the best growth on them under 6500k bulbs.

Will you be bringing any of this unattached xenia to the swap?

As usual Chris' xenia is doing great in my system. Healthy and happily attached to the rock I put it on (all but that one escapee which is doing fine as well).
