I think this house was waiting for me, I just took the electric panel cover off. I have (3) 220v 20a breakers installed that are unused, and (3) 110v 20a breakers installed, also unused.
(2) of the 220v lines are run right near the fish room area - I'm going to connect my Dolphin pump to 220v. Not sure if I will go w/220v for the lights on the new tank. I know IceCap makes a 220v ballast.
Plus I still have 8 slots open on the breaker panel.
This is going to make running electric so much easier.

I've been too busy moving. Finally moved almost everything to the new house. Moved the 55g Friday & set it back up. Drilled the back of the 55g & installed a 1.5" bulkhead, drains down to an 8g sump, and Iwaki 20 returns to the tank. Tank is still cloudy after almost 48 hours. I keep blowing off the sand that has settled on the rock.
The 125g has been up & running for 3 weeks now, the salinity was a little high - 1.028, corrected thru the night next day, now back at 1.025. Everything looking good, still working on aquascaping both tanks.

Hey, did you know that a 250w mogul bulb will char the wood the socket is attached to? Time to semi-finish the hood & get the reflector in there & offset the socket

Here is what I placed under the rock, 3/4 PVC w/holes drilled in it. Pipe going up can be connected to a PH to blow debris out from under rockwork

All in, temp light setup from the 60g, one 250w MH, and a 80w NO 9.2k tossed over the tank while I build a hood

Start on the hood design, both sides will flip up for access. I'm using 12" pine, which will sety the lights 9" off the water

Thought of this as I went, hood can slide to one side for access to part of the tank. Access to drains & where all the wiring will feed thru

Now I know why you haven't been on line...

Actually I've been busy as well. I'll have to start my own thread. I just don't have a tank picked out yet.

I noticed in your last pictures the dust storm is already ending.

Looks great!
