here's the Fish Room along with 100gal of plumbing

refugium is the last set of plumbing needed to be done after that I'm a happy camper
How does your Goodman work as your Chiller, set up the way you do? I could under stand it if you had some tubing wrapped around the A coil or slant coil, which ever one you would have. But to have all the plumbing out side and underneath it confuses me. And I work with HVAC. Also what ton is that and is it 10 or 13 Seer.

BTW your system is VERY sweet. Every thing is very clean and very well done and thought out!! Hat's off to you.

Bart,

been a longtime subscriber, first time posting.
Great thread! Something I'd like to do one day..maybe when i finally settly down, buy a home...

I was wondering if you have time, to take current pics of your fuge or frag tank. I'd like to see how you had those set up. I saw the pics of them in your early stages, have you set up your fuge and frag yet?

I don’t know why but I didn’t realize you used acrylic too…or maybe I just forgot. Love your setup.

That is a sweet set up on the chiller, after seeing your new pictures I fully understand how it works. Would be pretty easy for me to build one of my own. Except I do have to worry about winter. I would simply add a shut off valve to prevent it from running through it, then add a drain to drain what's in it when I shut it down for the winter. Thanks for sharing that info.

Your system is very sweet for sure.

Hi cbui2,

just wanted to drop a line and say thank you.. I've been dealing with the salt-water for about two years now. Failed three times and started again four times. But lately I was about to quit the hobby. Now you pulled me back in..!!!!!

I just found the missing link... I have 30g and 60g and wasn't good enough.. now it's time to save money and go for the big guy.. 600g..

thank you so much...

no problem, my friend in the business look at it too and said he could have fabricated me one too, but judging how busy he is it will take a long time to finished for me so i went ahead and purchased one. i can easily box my plumbing and have foam insulation for the winter if it gets out of hand.

the reason for doing that b/c i had 135gal for 2nd fuge originally then decided to get 100gal to have more head room to work with. my vacation is almost over and will be starting on the project again
