i had a thought about flow restriction myself, but in most cases the inside diametercation: Austin, Texas
Occupation: granite in the valve matches that of the pipe its attached to.

after that sentance, replace all the words, "restrict" with the word, "adjust".
it becomes confusing when your talking about flow being restricted by a reduction of pipe diameter, and the intentional reduction (adjustment) of flow by fine tuning the drain using the valve.
hope that clears up any confusion?

ide imagine they are telescopic yes? if the stand tubes are in tank, then they would actually be able to controll the water level in the tank.

if the are in an internal overflow box, then they would controll the water level only on the inside the overflow box...

the LED's appear to emitt enough light for good night time veiwing. i would be satisfied with them. as far as re-creating the spectrum emitted by the moon, well thats just beyond me!
looks good though.

yes. any adjustments other than heigt, and pipe diameter are un-neccesary, and can creat huge problems.
