Maroon Clownfish

I have had a Maroon Clownfish for over a year in my tank and it’s over 2inches now. I was curious if it would be possible to add a small Yellowstripe Maroon Clownfish to possibly be a mate. Is this possible?

Yeah that's right the Larger one will become female and smaller one male, But i would pressume the maroon in your tank is female but that can't be confirmed no one knows if they need a male clownfish to start changing to female or not but there's theories

is it as easy as just adding the smaller one to the tank or do they need to be acclimated to one another? I have been thinking of adding another maroon to my tank but I'm afraid the existing one will kill the new guy. My current one is pretty big, 3" I'd guess.

Well i have had two pair lose a female and the other lost the male and within a week or so i had gottenthem a new one each and they acted liek they where a mated pair but the best thing to do is have somewhere the male can hide from the female and they female can't get him maybe some eggcrate if he is small enoght or segreate him off for a while or visa versa so that they co exist and get to know each other
