Inverts walking on Corals
Almost two years in SW and reef, but still a newb. Anyhow, I have few zoas and mushrooms in the tank and noticed that my 3 shrimp (1 skunk cleaner and 2 peppermints) are walking all over them quite often causing the corals to close. Is this OK or something I should be concerned about? Thanks!

mine are always walking across mine, I dont see it as a problem, this is the way it is in the ocean and just so long as they are just walking, not eating or picking

They're cleaning them, more delicately than you can manage. If they close temporarily and get cleaned, good: they'll open better later. Also, if there's any dead or diseased tissue, the scavengers, bristleworms and shrimp will get that too.
Yellow star polyps are another matter: the peps can't tell that from aiptasia: they seem to smell alike.

I agree. But, my cleaner shrimp picks food out of my LPS. I have to defend them or the shrimp gets the food before the LPS can. They also do that to my zoos.
