please identify this guy

small, 6 or so legs, filters water and eats particles trapped in his legs. Showed up on florida live rock.

Does it move? If yes, then it could be a white basket star of something. Otherwise, probably a foraminiferan, like mine:

It is in the center of the picture. The white things are its legs. It moves its legs on its own. It puts them in its mouth, and then back out into the water to catch more particles in the water. It seems to stay where it is though. When it closes up it kinda looks like a pineapple shaped blob. I will get a better pic when I go home today for lunch. Are basket stars nice?

I dont think it is a foraminiferan. I have had those before, and they are different. I thing you may be right with the sea apple. It doesnt really look like any of the basket star pics i can find on the internet.
