open brain eating snail

Hey guys ...
I just wanted to share with everyone a weird experience. So I have a green open brain and most of my snails are cerith snails. So recently one lobe of the open brain seemed a bit fat and bulky, but i just thought it was because it was growing, but today I found that it had a cerith shell popping out of one of its mouth. Has anyone ever experienced this. I tried taking a picture because its so crazy, but my camera sucks and I could not get a clear picture. Just that this experience was definitely bizarre. Let me know what you think.

Here is a photo I took this winter of my Red Brain coral eating one of my Clownfish. How the fish wound up in its mouth, I have no idea, as the clowns never hosted in the brain coral, and the brain isn't exactly a mobile hunter.

I had a rhodactis mushroom in my first tank that would try to eat hermit crabs that fell onto it.
