OT: A/C season is here... a word to the wise

Get your A/C units cleaned and checked!

If you don't religiously change your filters ( you know who you are ) it's time for a new one and to get into the habit of changing them monthly. They're cheap and will save you the cost of a service call and blower cleaning or worse yet, an A coil cleaning..

If you think you can't afford to have someone clean and check your air conditioner, you should think again. You could EASILY be sending that much money to Ameren monthly if your unit is not operating properly ( especially those folks in IL ).

Ameren will love it if you don't.

I heard the preaching Thursday night. Went to ACE Friday. If I waited for the landlord, I'd be waiting till 2010.

I don't recall specifically mentioning you Gabe......a classic case of guilty conscience syndrome.

Uh.....maybe because really smart people tend to agree with eachother? It's kind of an unwritten law among really smart people.

Sometimes taking the advise of the older and wiser isn't such a bad Idea.

Hello all my name Stupid and this is my story, I didn't change my filters and my A/C & furnace was all gummed up really bad and I also had a breaker go out, and then some fualty wire's that broke and my wife already doesn't like me so when she turned on the A/C and nothing happen................................Well let's just say I can still breath anyway. So I'd take the old geeser advise, it will only save you in many ways. Why be like me and learn things the hard and very painfull way??
