Moon lights
I was wondering how long you guys leave them on? I am guessing all night?

I just leave them 24/7 ... my halides wash them out in the day.

On our 125, we run moonlights that are tied to the same timer as the reverse cycle sump light. So, they are on pretty much whenever the last real lights go off. Pretty cool looking stuff.

I use Fishbowls´s controller to simulate moon cycle: http://www.fishbowl-innovations.com/product/controller
I believe its worthless, but cool anyway.

I don't leave my moonlights on all night -
Moons: 7AM to midnight PCs: 9am to 9PM MH: Noon to 8PM Total Darkness: Midnight to 7AM No real "scientific" reason for the total darkness; I just figure that there is not always moonlight on a reef at night (cloudy nights, rain, 'new' moon, etc)
