Just wanted to promote my favorite local vendor. Chad always has some great, hard to find livestock and is willing to find it if he doesn't have it. I have purchased corals from him for over 3-4 years, and have never once been dissatisfied. If you are looking for some great colonies or even an occasional frag, this is a place to consider. He has also been very generous with the large reef tank at the NC State's College of Vet Med and his prices are generally fair.
Because he is local, I can't speak to how things arrive via FedEx/UPS. However, after seeing him pack these things, I couldn't imagine them arriving with much damage or loss. Having been burned by many online vendors in the past, its nice to have someone you can trust locally. Take er easy Scott |

Hi. I received 25 lbs. of cured LR from Chad at Reefscience.com yesterday, and it's awesome rock. I have several bright red mushrooms on it, as well as what appear to be a group of several button coral/polyps. Also a grouping on one rock of what I think are a star polyp (I'm a newbie and still learning). I noticed a lot of these things opening up only 3 hours after doing my aquascaping! I was amazed. Live rock growth is the major thing that pulled me into saltwater, and I'm very pleased with the LR from Chad!

I will try to post some pictures in the next couple of weeks. My fear is that my camera will not do it justice...
