Comments on acquascape appreciated

I have started acquascaping and I am pretty happy with center mound, but would really appreciate comments on side mounds, adding more rock etc. I am not happy with side mounds and think I probably need more rock. I do not want a wall along back but do want room for fish and corals to grow.

You can see some photos in my gallery. Not sure how to attach photos here.

Thank you
Frank

Frank it looks good to me, only thing is the side of your tank will get dirty from where the rock sits against the glass, if i might suggest pulling it out just enough to fit a magnet behind the rock for cleaning. whats the tanks specs, equipent? also i like your reflectors?

try the acrylic rod, and drilling through the live rock, and stack em method.
i was never satisfied with my aquascaping until i tried it, and am very happy with the results.

I love the stand and canopy. Was it custom built?

Maybe if you spead some of the mounds apart a bit so fish can swim in and out of it you will be happier in the future, how about so ledges? you can put corals on them.

I'd make them different sizes... the one in the middle being the tallest. Also, what corals said... make the bottom of the mounds more spread apart.

If you have some time... I'd try what someone above me said... and get the acrylic rods. Its not that hard or time consuming, and the end outcome is kickass.

Thank you for the comments. I agree I will pull the sides out a bit and spread them out some. I will try some rods as well. I have time since it will take a couple of months befor adding fish. The tank and stand are from Aquariums for You. The reflectors are Lumenarc III with 400 W Reflux bulbs. It is 290 gal.
Regards
Frank
