Remora AquaC PRO HOT Skimmer and MJ1200? Hose is too wide..?!?!

Hi I have an Aqua C and an MJ1200.. But the connectig hose in the skimmer is to wide. Is there an adapter???

Go to a hardware store and get a pvc reducer. Should work for ya.

Too wide? As in diameter? If the provided clamp won't work for you, then you will need to get the reducer mentioned above.

I just realized that I have the PRO which is sold with a magnun3 upgrade.. Seems to be intedted for a strong pump. Wonder if the MJ1200 Can do the job!Ay thoughts?

I would get the mag 3. It will out perform the maxijet.

There is not much flow coming from the mag 3 comparing to the 1200.

Mag 3 350gph at 35 watts.

Maxijet 1200 295gph at 20 watts

You save some energy going with the 1200 and about the same performance.

It's not the size....oops wrong start...let's try that again.
It's not the flow, but the pressure form the pump. I ran my Ramora with a mag3 and it made a very big difference from the maxijet.
Anyway, the maxijet will work.

The magnun 3 looks awesome! Only thing is.. Did you see the size of the mag 3!! It is huge.. I only have a 30 gallon tank. S I thought the MJ1200 which is more compact would be less of an eye sore . I could try a penguin 1400. It is rated at 300gph.
