pinks skunks wont host it?
i have a pink skunk pair and i read their natural host is the m. doreensis. So i brought an m. doreensis when i got the clowns, however it has been 2 weeks and the pink skunks show no interest in the anemone..
is this really their natural host? because i was told most skunks here in aus are collected from magnificas, not ltas, and they dont seem very interested in the lta. any tips to get them to host it or why they arent hosting it? |

I would give it some more time, that is really all that you can do. Mine took a couple of weeks before they found my PLTA

That was the same with my pair, they would get close to it, and then swim away. The male was the first one to "find" it. Took another week for the female to join him. Now, they never leave it. I know that doesn't help a whole lot, but honestly, there isn't a whole lot you can do. Time is all they need.

Same here, give it time.
I'm sure they will go to it when they figure it out, and then they'll probably never leave it.

Does the pair(or even one of them) host in anything?
My clowns would always go for the branching frogspawn in my tank. I moved the frogspawn down right in front of my anemone, and it took 1 night for them to find their anemone. My male was first as well. |
