Just stopping in to say hi

It's your old friend alphaferret! Just wanted to stop in and say hi-it's been awhile. But the lounge has not changed a bit. Good reads!

I'm strange just ask anyone here, but I like the idea of the old style anniversary gifts. Like paper, wood ect. Someone put up a link one time to it. Maybe you could find the list and make each one personal. This way each year she could collect them for a keepsake box to pass down to any little critters you two might have. My Grandparents did this, during the depression. Grams gave me the box after gramps died. Some of them made me just ball like a baby becuse of the thought and effort that went into making each thing on the list special. **tears** I just thought it brought back the original purity of marriage. Okay that was korney but it's true. If you want to do that along with the more modern gift that would be cool to.

I'm thinking a poem in a frame & I am a big fan of pre gifts yesterday I replaced the battery in her car remote. Really a small thing but when she realized she was very happy and surprized. She had gone w/out for months. We also are waiting for taxes to come back so that may increase the $ I can put toward the gifts. Dinner at a french restaurant(le adore)(sp) will be a definite. From watching snails to eating them yum!
