Sweet little Geometric Hawkfish
He has been a part of the family for more than two years now. Never gets into any trouble. No more than 2" in length.

Great question Bret61081. I would not put one in with pipe fish. They are not aggrasive eaters, but they can eye a piece of food from a foot away and in a split second it's gone. Very quick. I have a 37g seahorse tank as well, nearly two years now, and I would not put one in with them.

Love the fish. I've had mine for almost 2 months now and it's just starting to feel more comfortable where I see it alot.
Mine took about 3 weeks to come out. I thought it died. Now it pops out from time to time through out the day. Nice little fish. |

They are very shy. I rarely saw him for well over a year. No lie. I forgot he was in their until he poped his head out once every month or so. When I switched everything over from my 46g to the 58g I got rid of a Royal Gramma and he is everywhere now. Funny thing is the gramma never picked on him.

I had one, but haven't seen it in about a month, I'm guessing it died somewhere in the rockwork I really liked that little bugger, but only saw him for like the first 2 days I had him.

haha thats an awesome picture, they really arent as aggressive as true hawks because they are technically anthias and not hawkfish, but i could see any fish going after smaller shrimp, my sohal and juvie imperator angel both eat krill
