GBTA's for sale

We have two, wuite large, GBTAs that are not going to be transferred to the new tank (only the RBTA has been). Our ocellaris were hosting constantly in both of these, first in the original, then when it split, they sort of ran back and forth between the two. They are both on a rather large rock that also has a decent sized red on red digi and some smaller, matting zoas. $40 each for the GBTAs, or $100 for the rock with both of them on it. The price for the GBTAs is what we paid for the orignal one, and that was at about 25% of it's current size and health (it was originally bought as a fresh split). These split about a month and a half ago now and the the split is actually looking to be larger than the parent.

We worked alot in transferring livestock out of the old tank, so the water is cloudy, I will take a picture later on and post it. Here is a picture of the parent just before the split (taken a couple of months ago).

ok Lapsan... I will get some pictures posted of the both of them so that you can decide which one you want.

Where in the Bay Area are you located ? (we are in Oakley/Brentwood, which is in the Far East Bay.. no one is near us .. sort of feel like the Lone Reefers out here ).

I am also waiting to hear back from Eileen since she had dibs on one from before .

Kewl, I was about to respond to your PM. Maybe we can work something out and meet somewhere and transfer both (if Eileen still wants one). So one of you could meet me and take both nems back to transport to the other, that way it could save us all some driving (since I would not need to meet 2 different people at 2 different places/times ).

Hey, it'll probably will go into the DBTC when it splits - so you can have first dibs on it afterwards.

both of these look like they are getting to be the size where they are going to split again soon, so you may be able to bug one out of Lapsan if you wanted to Phong

Now it is just a matter of figuring out when and where to meet. Meeting at AC is not really an option, since that is over an hour drive for us, each way. I will PM you both, Eileen and Lapsan, to see if we can't figure out a good meeting place. The sooner the better as we are looking to drain the tank by this coming weekend.

Lapsan, it was great to have met you today, I only wish that I had more time to stay and chat . As it turns out that phone call that came into my cell was my wife, calling from a pay phone becuase she had left her cell at home. Bad connection is why I couldn't understand her (or recognize her voice). *sigh*.

Hopefully you made it back into the city safe and sound and we also hope that you and Eileen enjoy the nems
