Thanks Duc!!! I want an IMP now too. This BF is awsome, but I've had it for a long time now, and it really needs a bigger home soon!!! Come out to Cali and I'll give you a steal on mine (cause I know its going to a good home) and I can go out and get an IMP

BTW, I went to a sweet shop in Tokyo today. Its called PauPau. They had a sweet IMP for the bagin price of........................ $500 US dollars!!!

I mean, it was a sweet IMP (nothing I couldn't get in San Fran for $150), but a little pricey.....

But they also had the biggest lion fish I have ever seen!!!!!!!!!!!! It was 16"!!!!!!!! And they only wanted $75 US dollars I guess they must be a dime a dozen here

Cheers,

Jim

I know i'm kind limited with size here but my question is this. I have a 40g reef tank that I want to turn into a FOWLR tank. My question is which kind of fish do you guys recommend and how many fish can I keep in a small tank like that? I'm really interested in turning it into one. Another thing is that I have a brand new 60g tank, still in it's plastic cover. I can also just upgrade that 40 to that 60 for more space. What do you guys think?

When I had the CT, I was running a mainly aggressive FO tank with a wet/dry and a big skimmer. I had that clown trigger for about a year, but I wanted to switch to all LR and get an extensive clean up crew, so I sold it to a local here in Sac, so the CT wouldn't scarf all my snails and hermits. Wonderful fish, and never showed any signs of over aggressive behavior while it was in my possession.

The PBT I bought after the CT was gone, and I felt my system was ready to house the fish. I had had for about a year too, but it grew so fast, and became very belligerent. I fed it all the time. After about a year, all it would do is chase its reflection up and down the tank. It also began to harass my BF angel. I traded that fish into a LFS for some credit. It was a great fish, but IMHO, a 125 was just too small for the fish.

Here is a pic of the PBT pre- uber aggressiveness

Wonderful fish IMO. Just needs more tank than I could offer I also sold off the the miniatus in that pic before I moved my system to its new location.

Jim

Heres my tank its going to have a little bit of everything in it when its all done. Technically its not a fowler but i keep a lot of fish in my tank that you normally don't see in a reef tank.

I used to have this in there.

White trash you have some awesome fish. I love the eels and the blue spot. Why did you get rid of it?

the blue spot lasted for about 2 months and then he died due to using tap water. Always use RO/DI water ALWAYS!

Great tanks, I'm getting lots of ideas for my 125g. Does anyone have problems housing a flame angel with a juvi emperor?

Here is my 300 gal before and after I recently converted it from a reef tank. Getting ready to start stocking as an aggressive.
