parameters
I`m trying to get my parameters in check, just requesting feedback, thanks ahead of time,,,
ph 8.0 alk dkh 9.6 cal 475 mag 1040 I`ve started to add the epson salt solution, according to the calculator i need 10 oz of epson salt, so far i`ve added 4 cups of the mixture this morning, haven`t retested yet. About my tank,, 30 gallon long , with 5 gallon sump, 440 watts of vho`s on a icecap 660 ballast, remora skimmer, t/o rate is about 30x`s. Bionic 2 part solution is added every day. I have sps, mushrooms, lps, and a large fish load. help, please. |

IMO, Epsom salts are not an optimal way to go for that large of a magnesium boost. It will boost sulfate quite a bit, as I detail in this article:
