Wave making 24/7?
A whike back I got an idea for making a spray bar type return using Hydor rotating deflectors. The way I have things set up now my powerheads come on and go off with my metal halides giving the tank quiet time at night. If I go with the spray bar set up I will essentially have wave making 24/7.
Will this create stress on the fish and inverts or will it be beneficial?

Any thoughts?

I think many successful systems have their current set 24/7... and while the ocean certainly mellows out at night, it stays fairly active. Night diving can be some of the most intense for being moved vertically through the water column by the waves.

Thanks for the reply Ian. I think I'll give it a try.
If it seems to be problematic I can always go back I guess.
