NARC November-December meeting

Hi y'all,

This is kind of unusual for us, but due to the busy schedule everybody has during the November-December period, we are going to combine November and December meetings and have it at 1:00 pm on December 2nd at H@rry's place. Mary Ruth (H@rry's Land Lady ) made this suggestion and kindly offered to host the meeting for us . She even offered to provide food
and drinks so no one will have to bring anything except themselves. Boy, what an offer! Hope you all get to come.

H@rry will give us the direction to their house if you haven't been there yet.

See you all there!

Tomoko

Here's a Google map . Looking forward to seeing everybody! We'll try to start about 1:00 PM.

I am new to the group but would love to attend the meeting...I live in Anniston but do not mind the trip up. My name is Darrell and I am the past President of the defunked Northeast Alabama Aquarium Society (not my fault I hope) and have many years of freshwater exp. but I am somewhat new to reef keeping.
Looking foward to meeting everyone.
PS. Do you have a frag swap or auction at the meeting?

There are always some frags floating around in our meeting. You are welcome to come and join us. What kind of frags are you looking for?

H@rry and I are looking forward to having all of you for the 2 Dec meeting. Hope everyone "saved the date" to attend. The more the merrier!!! Several days ago H@rry posted directions to the house but if anyone didn't get them let me know and we'll make sure you get directions.

No one needs to bring food or drink. My contribution to the meeting will be lots of sandwich 'makin' stuff, finger foods, and drinks. Maybe I'll even make a little something for the sweet tooth. I'll enjoy doing this and am looking forward to seeing each of you.

Mary Ruth (H@rry's LandLady)

Does anybody have a refractometer that they can bring to the meeting? I want to compare my swing arm thing with it.

Beaslbob said that he would bring more magnesium chloride and calcium chloride if anyone is interested. He also got a lot of Epsom Salts, too. He is requesting to those who want calcium chloride to bring containers to take the stuff home with. He said that he is out of the coffee cans.

I'm hoping to make it.
I'll bring a few xenia frags -- I think buzzbait has spoken for one. And I also have a couple of montipora frags (one digi, one cap) I could bring if someone is interested.
I too could use a new start of chaeto and a few refugium bugs if anyone has some to spare. I have a lot of chaeto, but it doesn't look that great.

Beaslbob said that he would bring his usual macro (chaeto and others.) He request for a monti frag if anyone has it (there you go, Mariner.) He is also looking for a xenia frag for his wife Verdell's tank.

As some of you my know I bought all of the contents of the post "Selling all corals Auburn Al MOVING " so if you would like a 3-5 button frag delivered to the meeting on Sat. please get your request in quickly as I will be fragging some tonight and early tomorrow. Please use the pictures in the post when referring to a color. As you my know nothing is free so make a trade offer or cash is good

Beefarmer,
Glad you can come to the meeting.
Folks often bring frags to sell or trade -- that's great and should be encouraged. But those who've been to several NARC meetings know that there are often a few free frags to be had too. Some things are free. Really.
