live rock structure
i'm setting up my 65 gallon and i'm not using any substrate, i'm purchasing 100+ pounds of live rock and i'm worried that when i stack it somthing might wiggle around between the rocks or whatever and a few or a lot of them will come crashing down through the glass. Does anyone have any methods or specific structures to help prevent this, while keeping it pleasing to the eye?

first i would not place the rocks right on the bottom glass. a lot of people use some thing they call "starboard" its made out of the same stuff as those white plastic cutting boards. i would get a few of those and cut them to fit the bottom then place the rocks.
to help hold the rocks n place you can use epoxy and glue them togeather or drill holes and use zip ties, ceramic rods, pcv pipe or even "great stuff" expandable foam.

Will your tank be barebottom or sand? If sand, how deep?

I used a bunch of long zip ties to hold the bottom layers of rock together to create a stable base. After a couple of months the corraline algae will cover them and you will hardly notice them any more. Easy and cheap fix!
