maroon breeding size

just wanted to know how large a maroon clown has to be before she started laying eggs. i have a pair now and the larger one is just under 3 inches. i'm pretty sure this is too small but i just wanted some input from someone that had a pair spawn. thanks in advance

I have had 2 breeding pairs with fertile eggs:

Measurements tip of nose to tip of tale
First: Female 4", Male 2.5" I don't believe they have grown much for the new owner.
Second: Female 2.5", Male <2.0" fwiw: I have yet to see/hear of a pair of fertile maroons smaller then this pair.

Hope that helps.
