Just an idea...
I was looking at my montipora the other day, it is in a very unstable position and hasn't secured itself to the rock yet. It gets tipped and turned different ways and then in turn grows at different angles. I was thinking, what if someone tipped and turned it the way they wanted over time, and they could create some piece of art?
Sounds like an interesting idea to me, what do you think?

People do it with plants -- I've seen Ficus planted together with braided trunks, lucky bamboo woven into basket shapes, and look at bonsai trees! You seem to be proving that the same thing can be done with coral, so if you enjoy the look and the coral isn't stressed out during the process, why not?
