No, Bettman will continue to manipulate the games, and force a Game 7 to get more viewers. Did anyone see how many missed boarding and roughing calls there were this game? All those attempts to crush a guy open ice? All they call now is hooking.

lol I just really hate Bettman. But really, there were a lot of iffy non calls, both sides, mainly Carolina though. Like on the first play when Edmonton scored, look straight over to the corner, Ward gets crushed face first with an elbow into the boards..how did that become legal?

I almost threw my beer at the TV last night, and I'm not even a big Carolina fan.

You're up 3-1 in the series, on home ice, in OT, on a power play, and you make a soft pass across ice in the defensive zone. You Idiot!!!

Peca hit the stick which probably caused him to get a little less on that pass...great play by Peca

Back when he was with us as a fourth liner, he couldn't do too much, as he was small and the old rules. He still put up around 30pts/year. Now I think he's going to become like Briere...small, quick, benefits from the new rules. Plus, this allows for some breathing room. Should Primeau not make it back, Murray can center the 3rd line, with Handzus centering the checking line, and we'll have scoring depth all around. If Preems comes back, then Murray can be our #1 call up from the Phantoms, or be a winger in place of Nik the Greek. Now to work on the defense, recent articles show that Rico is considering retirement, Johnsson is still working out his health, and Hatcher COULD be bought out. I'd like to give Hatcher another year though, both him and Rathje were fine until their knee injuries. Oh well...all hope is not lost!

it's going to be a strange off-season. I'm interested to see how everyone flops rosters now that they've played out the new rules.

Brind'amour deserves that Cup more than anyone on the ice...great job Canes, as much as Hartford deserves them, you gotta give them credit.

Congrats to the Cane's and Cane's fans. What an intense game.

The Oilers put up a great fight. Props to the 8th seed from the west.

He's waited a long time for this, too bad it couldn't be #17 in orange and black..

I know...he's always been my favorite, even if he's not with the Flyers. I'd have loved to see him win it with them, but I'm happy for him either way.

Yup, same here...I especially liked how he totally dissed Bettman. Just snatched the cup, no picture, no speech...
