Well...........

.............financially things are a little tight right now, and I can not afford the extra hit on the electric bill. So after a discussion with the wife, we have decided to get out of the hobby for awhile. Because of this I have the following equipment for sale:

- 120g AGA RR tank with 6 holes drilled in the back for CLS - $200
- AquaMedic Ocean Sexy 48" MH Fixture, 2 - 250W 10K's, 1 - 150W 20K - $600 (Bulbs have about 8 months on them).
- 4 110W VHO w/ Icecap 660 Ballast - $200 (Bulbs are about 6 months old), 2 additional new bulbs included.
- DIY 250W 14K SE MH w/ LumenarcIII reflector - $175 (bulb has 2 months on it).
- MRC MR3 dual Beckett skimmer w/ quick release option, Blueline HD70 pump - $550.
- MRC CR3 calcium reactor w/ second chamber, full CO2 bottle, solenoid valve, pH probe port in between the 2 chambers, driven by Iwaki MD20 pump - $300
- Oceans Motion 4-way - $250
- Sequence 5800 pump - $300
- Sequence 3200 pump - $200
- Rubbermaid 100g sump - $75
- Rubbermaid 75g fuge - $50
- Large, fat yellow tang - $30
- Mated pair Clark's Clowns, large GBTA, and large valida SPS colony attached to same LR as GBTA - $150.
- Large 6-line wrasse - $20
- Green Chromis - $5
- Blue Damsel - $5
- approximately 180# LR - $3/lb
- Several large and small SPS (Oregon Blue Tort, Green Slimer, Hydnophora and more) - $20 - $50
- Several large Zoo colonies - $30 each
- Large yellow polyps - $20
- Large green button polyps - $20
- 7-headed green frogspawn w/ pinkish tips - $50
- large multi-headed torch coral - $50
- Good-sized piece of LR with a 5" Blue Crocea attached. This piece of rock also has a large zoo colony (green skirts, orange center), and another hunk of rock with multiple types of zoo's attached) - $150
- Fist sized piece of LR w/ 3 hairy mushrooms on it - $40
- Neptune Systems ACIII with 2 DC4HD's, 2 pH probes, temperature probe - $650
- Refractometer - $20
- A bunch of true-union ball valves from Savko - $10 per.

I am sure I have more that I am forgetting. Obviously all livestock has to go before any of the mechanicals can be broken down.

Send PM's for items you want, that way I will get an e-mail alert. I am not able to check RC that often.

I also want to say a huge thank you to all of the members of RC and CTARS that have been very patient with all of my questions.

Mike

I'd love to add the zoos to the school's coral prop. project and perhaps some of the bigger SPS colonies. Let me know how many zoos you have and I'll come down this weekend. Thanks!

Naso,

I am very bummed about the decision, and the wife is heartbroken. But, if you can't keep the lights on the livestock will die.

We are thinking about keeping the Clarkii's and the nem and putting them in a nano tank in the living room. That way she will still have her stress relief, and a small piece of a reef to look at. I apologize to anyone who may have spoken for the clowns and nem, but the wife just informed me of this a few minutes ago. I will get all of the PM's sorted out and answered, and update the list of what is available.

I seen some real nice nano and pico tanks. Save your softies and zoes. They do well in nanos under pc lighting.

CS,

The skimmer has been in use for about 6 months. The reactor is a little older, but I just got it back from Andy after sending it to MRC for a refurb, so it is in like-new condition. The second chamber is brand new as I added that to the reactor, only had it about 2 months.

I will also have about 500# of live sand (between tank and fuge) available. 1/2 is Southdown, 1/2 is CaribSea. Tank has been up and running now for about 4 months, sand should be fairly well seeded.
