He got me!!!
The other day I was cleaning my 12g mantis tank (it was reall bad), and it finally happened!!!
Yes, I was not paying attention for a second and POW!!!! I could not believe it...scared the you know what out of me. My 5" peacock ( kill bill) got tired of my hand in his home and got my knuckle. It must have been just a warning because it did not even break the skin and it really did not hurt that bad. It was kind of loud and it scared me more than anything. I have seen this guy smash snails, crabs, crawfish and shrimps to peices so I was lucky. |

You keep a 5" Peacock in a 12g tank, isnt that kinda small.

yeah probably.
I stay on top of water quality, which is more important IMO. I am currently looking for an upgrade. Any suggestions on size? |

I am thinking of having a local acrylic guy make a 24" x 24" x 12" cube, which would put it close to 30g.
Any thoughts/ problems with a cube for a mantis tank? |
