Frogfish

Just received a wartskinned frogfish this morning and after aclimating and putting it in its tank it coughed up a 3.5"clown tang. Too bad it wasnt still alive. Wish I could afford too feed it that well.

could you explain more about the clown tang? mine sucked in a hermit crab one day, not sure if it ended up swallowing it or not

After aclimating the frog fish I put him in his tank and carried on adding some of the other fish that arrived with my order into other tanks. About half an hour later I went to check on him to see how he was doing and noticed a pile of hermit crabs on some random fish lying on the sand. I then removed the fish a noticed it was a clown tang that must have been lunch at the fish store for him(ooooppps) before he left. As to why he didnt eat it completely I dont know(I would probably do the same on an airplane after a meal that size) I'll try feeding him again in a day or so. Thanks for all the replies, thought it was kind of a neat story. Ill keep an eye on mine to see if he goes after any of the crabs, I hope not they are his only tankmates.
