Jay is coming over tomorrow, so I'm going to be up half the night taking that sand bed out again.

Now that you've admitted the truth, explain the smoke and mirrors you use to hide the DSB from day to day...

Hmmm . . . I always thought that the starboard was just a cover that you temporarily slipped in to cover up the sandbed. Taking the sandbed out and putting it in again is more trouble than taking the starboard cover in and out, isn't it? It takes a few minutes to template the bottom of your LR to cut all the holes in the right place to mate around the LR, but I'm sure the investment will be worth the effort in the long run.

You know, since I make fake stuff for a living I could make you a rubber sandbed that you could roll up at night, but I guess that would defeat the purpose, since we know that it is the sandbed that is functional and the starboard that is decorative. Right?

P.S.: Since you are coming clean now, how many of the coral in your TOTM were real and how many were plastic? Thanks for the tips, errr, tricks that is!

I love blob fish!

Ron, that's a great idea and much easier. Let me work on it.

Hey, so I like my fish a little chubbier than you do . . . I shall refrain from passing your comments on to Mr. Blobby, in the interest of preserving his self image. Just count your blessings that the photo is small.

I almost sent you an old digital camera of mine with an underwater case. LOL

But then I'd have to fly down there and teach you how to use it.

Hey, Barry did you get my email? Our email is screwy right now, so I don't know!

Maybe on the pictures, it's not a high priority right now. Getting all these presents wrapped is!

Jerel, you don't have to wrap those SPS for me. Just bag 'em and don't forget the heat packs.

Yeah, I really should do that. I don't want any silly bows on my SPS.

Remember when I came last year? I brought the coldest front of the year! I'm bringing my surfing suit, full 3/2 mm.

What qualifies as a 'thick' skin down there in the Keys? Up here in the Pacific Northwest it's a drysuit.

You mean on New Years he goes with a big group - and jumps in the largest nearest body of water?

Kinda wimpy in S. Florida, though

What happened to our BB crash stories thread? The first part is still there
http://archive.reefcentral.com/forum...5&pagenumber=1

But when you click the link in the split message it says the thread does not exist.

Did they close it?
Whiskey

P.S. I put this message here because most of the people perticapating in that thread are also keeping an eye on this one.
