I thought I seen almost everything there is to see. Check this out.LOL

I came home tonight from visiting a buddy. My son goes, "DAD you have to see your clown fish"! I say, ah what's to see... Ever since I lost my BTA to a powerhead, my clown went back to hosting my gonipora... Well the Goni really doesn't like it and I said, Man I wish the thing would host the frogspwan or something.. Well it got better than this.. Check this out!!!!!!!!

Has anyone ever seen a clown hosting a Feather Duster!! THe crazy thing is the duster doesn't even retract.. When I touch it, the thing shoots in as fast as lightning. But it will let the clown lay in it.. Have I lost my mind...

Tell me that is crazy..
I figured I would share this will ya all. For kick's and giggles....

Sal.

I had exactly the same thing happen. Had gold stripe maroon clown host in anemone and clarkki clown host in my feather duster. I too was surprised to see the feather duster seem to be not bothered.

Now that is amazing, salty was over picking up his timers tonight and we were talking about all the crazy things that go against conventional thinking
for example we bought a dead bubble skeleton, and it got aptasia so not knowing I put it on the driveway in new orleans for 3 days in the sun. killed the aptasia, but a month later the bubble coral came back to life. Arent corals supposed to be fragile?
we need an amazing things thread, your hosting clarki would get my vote

Unbelievable--at least it isn't the powerhead again.

Very cool, I wouldn't have thought it could happen.

Thats awesome Sal...great photos! My clown has two hosts...a day host and a night host...during the day he hardly ever leaves his RBTA. At night, he literally wedges himself into that huge patch of xenia I have.

My occelaris clown use to host my feather duster but he was recently sucked up by a canister filter. I used that filter for just one day to polish the water and it managed to kill him even though I thought he was too fat to fit in the tube.

Ah man, sorry to hear that. I think I might end up doing a closed loop sooner than later to get the powerheads out of my tank. Just need to save up the cash...
