December Club Party

We will be having our Christmas party at Cinzetti's again!

When: December 10th at 12:00-3:00pm (this is a Saturday)

Where: Cinzetti's Italian Market Restaurant

281 West 104th Avenue
Northglenn, Colorado 80234
(303) 451-7300
http://www.cinzettis.com

Cost: $17.19 per adult, this includes the meal, beverage (non-alcoholic), and the 15% gratuity.

Please be prepared to pay the club cash rather than the restaurant. The restaurant has required one payment for the entire group.

There is a full bar there, and alcoholic drinks can be paid for seperately. We will be there during the "brunch" hours but you can check out the many types of food they offer during lunch and dinner on their website.

Please RSVP here or send me a PM (by Dec. 7th) with the number of people that will be attending. If you have children coming, let me know and I can find out their price. I have reserved it for 30 people but that number can easily be changed within the next couple of weeks. Hope you all can make it! It is somewhat hard to describe Cinzetti's if you have not already been there, but feel free to chime in for those that have not experienced this restaurant before.

I should add that all are welcome, bring friends and family!
Since we have the slot from noon to 3pm you can certainly come anytime between then, and you do NOT have to stay the full 3 hours !

The club will bring change to make payment as simple as possible.

Would Sunday work better for everyone? I would like responses from everyone (not just those that have already replied). If a majority of people would rather have it on Sunday at noon I can look into changing it. The Broncos game is @2:15 on Sunday (that is one of the reasons we scheduled it for Sat. originally)

If people don't speak up about when works best then I don't know, so far all I know is that Sat. does not work. Help me help you
Thanks all!

I could do Saturday anytime (lunch or dinner). My Mom will be in town Sunday and that is our day to celebrate the holidays with her, so I can't come if it is Sunday.

I'd love to come and meet everyone! I'm not sure I can make the Saturday date, my son may have a tournament that day. Saturday evening would probably work alright. And I work on Sundays from noon to 9. I might be able to go in late, but just have to see. At least it's close to home and work so I wouldn't have to go far!

Hey everyone, sorry I know this thread is turning into something confusing.
Basically, I need to know if people can make the current date set at Sat noon to 3. I plan on keeping it set on Sat. (given the times that Cinzetti's has available). As of right now it looks like based off of the responses:
2 confirmed for Sat and 1 maybe.
3 cannot do it on Sat
1 confirmed for Sunday
2 cannot do it Sunday

Unfortunately, whatever day/time we plan a few people won't be able to make it. I thank those that have replied Keep the RSVPs coming!

Heidi and I can be there either day.

Brandon, since there is a Bronco's game on Sunday I think we should still move forward for Saturday. Since we only had six people show up at the last meeting, I would hate to see you go through all of this trouble finding a place only to have six people show.

Much as I'd like to be there, I won't. I'll have an alligator po' boy (if I can find one) and think of you all.
You're right Brian...lots of lassitude here.

As of right now it looks like when December 7th rolls around I will be changing the reservation from 30 people to 6 for lunch on Sat. the 10th.

For those that are new to the boards, I really encourage you to come if you can. I really appreciated seeing faces behind the names and just being with a good group of people is always enjoyable. And I also promise to take a shower and even use soap before the lunch!

For those that have been on the boards a while, or to meetings in the past, may I remind you that the club is what you make of it. As staff, we can basically provide a time and place for our gatherings but it is up to you to join us or not. I will leave it at that.

I would join but you are not having it on a day that I can attend. I also feel that before you announce that a event like this is on such and such day maybe take a poll?

Dave, the comment was not directed at you, you have replied and we know that you would come if you could. I am talking more specifically about those in the group that have wanted to have meetings in the past and when we post something up they are nowhere to be found?

As far as the date scheduled, Joe and I discussed that any later in December would be too close to Christmas, and there would probably be a lot of things already scheduled for people during those weekends. We also didn't want it on a Sunday for the Broncos game (not everyone has Tivo ) So that is why we had little concern about setting it for the 10th.

But if we are only going to have half a dozen people show up at meetings then I think we might as well post a poll for what time works best.

I agree. 6 people is hardley worth making the reservation.
and I do see your point. but was only stating for those of us that do work on weekends that we may be able to make meetings if there was a poll or such in advance and the club could help decide when to have the meets.
it does get frustrating sometimes that we log in and see a stickey about a cool event happening and only to see its on a day we cannot attend. imho the members should have at least some say on the days or dates some events are held. after all its the members that make the group function.
all that said I do feel the club does run better then it has in the past, and you guys are doing a great job. I only am bringing up my concerns and thoughts. and I know a few others feel this way as well.
thanks
